Lay overlapping strips of packing tape over the glass until the whole surface is covered.

If the broken glass makes it difficult to get a suction cup to stick to the surface, try folding a strong piece of tape (such as duct tape) into a handle to lift the glass.

Wha.....WHY?! The screen will not work!
Hello server ghost, as noted in the introduction, we recommend taping over cracked glass to create a surface for a suction handle to hold onto as well as to prevent bodily harm during repairs.
