Lasko 20" Wind Machine Blade Replacement

This is my guide on how to open a 20” Lasko Wind Fan to remove or replace the blade. This guide can increase the life of the fan. It also shows you how to access the inside of the fan to clean it. This is helpful for dust build up, and prolonging the life of your fan. Also, replacing the blade can increase the life span. Be sure to turn off and unplug this device before cleaning or placing your inside of it.

    • Unplug the power cord.

    • Wipe off and dust the front and back grill of the fan.

    • Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove four 8.8 mm screws that are marked on the back of the grill.

    • Unlatch the top of the fan to separate the grill and reveal the blade.

    • Grab both sides of the blade and twist counter clockwise to remove it from the base axel attached to the back grill.
