my mom uses the wii to play animal crossing. it's a great stress reliever and a nice rock in her life. recently, the DVD drive gave out and refused to read any discs at all.

the repair took less than and hour and, aside from the wii being slightly uncooperative at times, it went incredibly smoothly. mom was just astounded and super glad.

I would definitely suggest keeping a running list of what screws come from what location on the wii. they are all small, different, and particular.
