Steam Controller (2nd Generation) Repair

Announced on November 12, 2025, alongside the Second Generation Steam Machine and the Steam Frame, released on May 4, 2026, the Second Generation Steam Controller brings a modern and refined take on Valve’s hallmark game pad. It features two 34.5 mm square trackpads with haptic feedback and pressure-sensitive click strength similar to the Steam Deck. These work alongside two full-size magnetic (TMR) thumbsticks with capacitive touch for reliable, drift-resistant control and intuitive thumb detection.

This controller is designed for SteamPCs, Steam Deck, Steam Frame VR, and more, providing a versatile and deeply configurable controller experience.
