The Laptop Will Not Turn On
The laptop will not respond to any inputs or show any sign of powering up.
Faulty Power Adapter
Check to make sure the power outlet being used is supplying power. Try multiple outlets to test this. If it is, make sure the light on the power adapter is on. If the light is not on and the adapter is plugged in, the power adapter is faulty. It is advised you purchase a new power adapter.
Faulty Battery
If the adapter is plugged into the wall and the power adapter light is on, make sure the power adapter is connected well to the laptop. If the laptop is only able to power up when the power adapter is connected, the battery is most likely faulty. This guide can be used to replace the battery.
Laptop powers on, but shows a black screen
The laptop turns on showing the power light on and the fans are heard running, but nothing appears on the screen.

The laptop has short lifespan despite being one of its selling features.
Dying Battery Pack
The laptop may overheat when its battery is dying. Each battery has its own life cycle which is usually measured by the number of charges per lifetime. When the battery dies, you can use this guide to change it.
Uncalibrated Battery
You may need to calibrate your battery. This could be done by charging the Laptop up to 100% , then turn off all screensavers and applications that are running on the computer. Once the laptop reaches 100%, leave the laptop on until it runs out of battery, then recharge the battery to 100% . this will help calibrate the battery cells. This process is recommended to be performed once every 3 months.
The laptop is slow
The laptop is running slow or will give errors about the amount of memory.
Too Many Open Programs
When using the Laptop to run many programs, the laptop might suffer from overheating. Press the CTRL button along with ALT and DEL buttons to open the task manager to check the RAM and the CPU usage. Check the application that is exhausting the CPU and RAM, these applications should not be kept open when you are not using them
Running out of Storage
Check the amount of storage on your device using this guide. If the storage is low, delete any unnecessary files. If the storage issue persists, it is recommended replace your storage unit with another one that offers a higher speed or larger storage. This manual may be used to do this.
Laptop cannot connect to a device
The laptop will not connect or detect any devices through bluetooth or USB ports.
Broken Bluetooth Card
If the bluetooth card is not working, you will not be able to connect to any bluetooth devices. It is recommended that this guide be used to replace the internal bluetooth card.
USB/Sound Board
You may have an issue with the USB port not recognizing a device after plugging the device in. This might be due to a defect in the USB port or due to physical damage. You may use this guide to replace the USB port.
Laptop will not connect to the internet
The laptop cannot connect to the internet
Router/Modem
Check that the router or modem is is properly connected to the internet. Make sure it is turned on and all lights are working. If this is not the case, try restarting the router by making sure everything is plugged in well and then unplugging the power cord for 15 seconds and then plugging the power cord back in. Wait a minute, then check if the laptop can connect to the internet.
Wifi Card Broken
If the router/modem is not the issue and other devices can connect to the internet, the internal Wifi card may be the issue. It is recommended that this component be replaced. This can be done by following this guide.

Why does the ideapad 100s change type size constantly. It seems like I don’t even touch it and it gets very big or very small. Constantly. Any advice?

My Lenovo ideapad 100S-14IBR is power on but not displaying on screen, my LCD is good I tasted it on an external monitor and d same issue, pls any advice

My Lenovo ideapad 100S-141BR stops charging at a certain percentage. It just shows "plugged in" without the percentage increasing.
