The battery life seems to be keep getting shorter and shorter.

Over time, the battery's capacity slowly runs down. To slow down this aging, manage the temperature and usage of the phone. Replacing the phone battery could solve this problem. See our battery replacement guide.

To check if the battery is dead, remove the battery and use a voltage meter to see if the battery is holding charge. See the multimeter guide for details. If the battery is indeed dead, check out our battery replacement guide.

Change the settings on your phone. Check if you have the latest software and are using power-saving settings.

The camera doesn't take pictures, or the pictures it takes are distorted or blurry.

Check the lens of the camera for cracks. If it is cracked, you may need to replace it. Check out our replacement guide for the rear facing camera replacement.

Remove as much dust as you can with a soft-bristled brush. Then, use a small amount of lens cleaning solution on a lens tissue and gently wipe the lens to remove dirt or other things distorting the image.

When placing finger on the scanner it does not read it correctly and unlock the phone.

Open the phone normally and navigate to the settings, re-enter your fingerprint into the phone. Put in several fingerprints to make sure.

Use a clean dry cloth to clean the scanner. Then unlock your phone with the passcode and try to use the scanner again

The phone doesn't or is slow to receive touch input on the screen.

If your phone is slow in general, try removing unnecessary apps or programs and make sure your software is up to date.

The speakers make a crackling sound when turned on to play audio.

The sockets and wiring may have come loose during use. Especially loud and prolonged use of the speakers could vibrate small pieces out of place. Make sure the wires connecting the speakers are fully attached.
