Hi
My right headphone has stopped working. It doesn't play sound but I think it's some kinde of trouble with the cable because when I bend it right over the remote the sound comes back.
Has someone experienced the same problem and have any good advice?

Sebastian, those are great headphones, but a bit of a pain to fix. That it works when you bend the cable is indicative of a broken wire/connection. you could try and cut it, remove the insulation and resolder a connector to that end. Check on here for a little more information. Hope this helps, good luck

I've got the same problem, but having this problem every year i already know the source. It's the wiring in the jack (for me).
But the EarPod teardown does not include a disassembly of the jack.

Mine breaks constantly and i have no idea why. I always have to get a new pair. The thing is, they always pop open as well, and I don't know how to deal with it.

the earphones are fake then, they not meant to pop open

For Apple earbuds, just take the cage(griddle looking thing on outside) and remove that with a tiny sowing needle, then pull out a long metal shaped rod from inside, and wash it off with warm or hot water. Make sure you completely dry it then carefully insert it back in its original place. Then pop the griddle cage back on. You just cleaned off any dust, dirt, or wax! Now the connection will work again!

If the earpods working properly on other devices just go to accessibility in general settings and equate the hearing sensitivity of left and right earpods

i have tried this and it still doesn't work, my music keeps stopping and starting and skipping without me touching it and the right ear bud doesn't work

My left earbud isnβt working now. The thing is, the wires are not bent, they havenβt been accidentally washed, and theyβve worked perfectly for like 3 months now, and these were given to us free by Apple. And Iβve been using them all day because I have been in the car a lot today. Earlier they were working fine and they were working fine in the store too. But when I get back into the car they arenβt working right anymore? Thatβs bull and its really starting to make me wonder about Apple.

Take out whatever ear that is not working speaker cushion the little thingy that's on the speaker burn it because your taking the sweat off of the cushion because that is what connects to the speaker to let it stop working but when you take it out with a needle or something burn it when you burn it put it back in that's when it will start working again I DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS GONNA WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRUEEEEEE THINGGGG

This sometimes might happen if it's unclean. So what you do is take a safety pin and just scrape the dirt out of it. That'll work. If you still don't get the output you want, then I think it's a technical problem.

I had the same problem.Try cleaning your earbud with a needle to get rid of all the earwax ,sweat and dirt.I did the same and now the sound is back.Hope this helps :-)

You do mean, to not directly stick the needle, in the earphones, right? I know that, I'm just making sure you don't mean that.
This isn't necessarily the answer but the problem occurs with the microphone section of the EarPod. It consists of the top of the microphone and the wire connecting the top of the microphone to the RIGHT EarPod. I'll be looking into answers for this. At this point I've diagnosed the issue with the design.

I had the same thing with my headphones; I couldnβt hear out of my right ear when I connected it to my iPad, and it wasnβt broken (or $35 wasted), so I just pushed it a little farther in my device and it worked! These headphones were over ear, theyβre a lot better than earbuds.

The same thing happened to my headphones, and when I bent the cord, it worked. Instead of having my dad pay $100 to fix it, he simply emailed the manufacturer, who sent me a free new pair within weeks. Try doing that, and you might save money.
