The device shows no indication of connecting to the Bluetooth on my phone. The screen on the Jabra CRUISER2 appears as it does when it is not in use and the sound plays only out of the phone speaker, as normal, rather than out of the CRUISER2 speaker.

You might not be paired with the phone you are trying to use. To do this you need to make sure the CRUISER2 is on and proceed to press and hold the answer/end button until you hear this, “Pairing mode”, and you see the Bluetooth indicator light begin to flash. Then make sure that the Bluetooth function of the phone is on and proceed to search for Bluetooth enabled devices and select Jabra CRUISER2.
