Im attempting a charging port replacement on the tablet, i've got the old charging port off without any issues however I can't get the mounting holes free from solder to fit the new charging port in.
Could anyone advise on what I could try, tried solder wick but doesn't help much as I can't get enough heat into the solder between the holes

Position the new port with its feet in place, then heat the area (I used a heat gun carefully) while applying a little bit of pressure with a pair of tweezers.
The solder (or whatever it is) will soften with the heat and the port will sink in. Remember to remove the yellow tape from the topside first!
