1 broke the power button flex cable
hi,
i snapped the thin flex cable for the power button when trying to replace the screen. is there a part i can replace? or will soldering work?

Soldering skills of medium level will be required and a good iron with small tip (silver bearing (preferred) solder with good non acid flux as well). I would not advise anyone who does not have those skills to attempt repair unless you don't mind F@i& up the whole board. The ribbon can be bought online but it does require soldering.

I have this same issue. I have ordered a replacement cable. Does it require soldering or will it just clip into place?
