LCD touchscreen not displaying
Camera still records, and I hear tones when touching the screen but it remains blacked out.

Pay special attention to what TCampbell says. That might be the key for your issue.

Tried Tcampbell's fix but doesn't work for me.
Maybe that little proximity sensor is broke or a pcb, just don't know which one.
