Is this toy waterproof?
I have a young child that is teething and wondered whether or not this would be OK to get wet.

No, this toy is not waterproof and water damage is a very common problem among users. I would not advise this toy for any young children prone to putting toys in their mouths. If you do run into water problems this might help.

No it is not perfectly waterproof,
you can not take it in water.
but a little rain wont damage it.
My child poured milk above it, that was no problem,
cleaned it, works with no problems.
