How can I replace my LCD Screen?
My screen recently broke, it refuses to turn on. I read through the tear down and was unable to determine what I should do in order to replace the screen.

Hi Mitch,
Try taking a look at the LCD replacement guides for similar models. The HP EliteBook 8440p has a LCD replacement guide and so does the HP EliteBook 6030p. You can also find a replacement part on Amazon. The replacement LCD for your laptop can be found here. Be sure to double check your model numbers to be sure you've ordered the correct part.
