My D550ma Power failure

This laptop has an Intel Celeron Processor with a 15.6" screen, 4 GB of memory, and a 500 GB HDD. It may be all black or have a white shell with black edging.

My D550ma Power failure

In the middle of surfing the net my Asus D550ma crash with power failure. It won't power backup nor charge. It begin running real slow at startup before the failure. Any advice?? Thanks for your responses

Yes, I have checked AC power adapter . It lights up the power light but that's all. Also the power switch lights up the power light too but noting else.

when you hit the power switch nothing happens? No POST sounds etc?

Yes, I hear a click and the smal power light comes on.

Try to remove your battery, your ram modules and remove the AC power supply,, Hold the power button down for 30 seconds or more. After that replace one memory module and plug your computer in, try to restart.
