My sister gave me her RCA Pro 10 tablet when she purchased a newer version. All her information is on it... and the screen shows a lock on it. How do i start using it? How do I delete her information such as her email? Thank you

To erase all data and return the tablet to factory settings you can perform a hard/factory reset. This will allow you to erase all your sisters data and restore the device to factory settings. You can then set up the tablet the way you like with your accounts and apps and so on. Since there is currently a lock screen in place you will need to boot into recovery mode to perform a hard/factory reset. To do a factory reset on the tablet follow these steps:
Resetting the Tablet
Power the device down completely, and then hold both the volume up button and the power button until the RCA logo appears on the screen. When the screen changes to the Android bot on his back, press and hold the power button and then press volume up once more. At this point, the Android System Recovery screen appears, with a list of options. Use the volume up and down buttons to navigate the menu and make selections accordingly.
To reset the device, scroll to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the power button. Confirm the selection by scrolling down through several "no" entries until the word "yes" is visible. Highlight "yes" and press the power button. The process takes between 1 and 10 minutes, but once it finishes, it powers up again and shows the "Welcome" screen. This is a sign of a successful reset. Try to make sure the battery is around 50% or higher before performing the reset.

This does not seem to work for the RCA Atlas 10 Pro. I never get the Android symbol. This unit has a built-in keyboard with volume adjustments on the keyboard only.

That “hold the volume button and the reset button” does absolutely nothing. How do I get into a tablet that is locked and won’t allow access? Yeah, good question that I can’t find the solution to ANYWHERE on the internet………..

I was given n RCA Atlas 10 Pro-S Model number
RCT6503W13H1 from a friend n it is locked n
the password/pin# has been forgotten. I have
tried to do the Factory Reset using the instruct-
ions given here. Unless this Model is completely
unique from all other RCA Arlas 10 Pro-s units,
your factory reset instructions DO NOT WORK!!
Once I hold the power on n volume up buttons at
the same time the RCA logo/Dogs come up right
away but, WILL NOT CHANGE to the Reboot bot
screen!!
Please advise the right way to factory reset this

press power and upkey once you see the dogs let go of power keep up key press when you see bot on his back let go.

STATES THAT IF YOU CAN CONNECT WIRELESSLY TO YOUR MODEM or ROUTER YOU CAN (MIRROR)STREAM ANYTHING FROM YOUR PHONE OR OTHER DEVICES this atlas PRO-CRAP tablet does not mirror as IT IS ADVERTISED on tv (HSN) or other video demonstrations... its a bonafide rip -off. claims if you can connect this junk with router/module you can mirror any device playing on your phone lap top, etc. i will be returning mine asap to hsn for full refund tomorrow and spread the word "junk". "if there is a way to do it ... its not in any of the manualls ... rip-off artists !!!!!!! 2016 OLD/NEW STOCK THAT DOES NOTHING IT CLAIMS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
