home button not responcing

You have multiple possibilities with this one.

1) The home button cable was not properly connected to the board.

2) The home button cable was torn during the replacement, which can especially happen when taking off the broken digitizer if you go too far in with your iSesamo or opening tool.

3) The home button was not placed exactly the way it needs to be with the new display. It is very finicky and needs to be spot on.

4) Board damage where it connects.
