Leaks when making soda
when making soda, the gasket located where the bottle screws in is old and hard.
the soda leaks down the bottle and onto the counter.
i cannot find a replacement gasket on line??

I used Sugru, which you can buy on Amazon or Target and made my own gasket. The object is to not make it so thick just about a string of 1/4 inch Surgru around the inside, screw the bottle in just enough to make a slight screw impression and then take the bottle out and let it dry for 8-10 hours.
You've now made your own gasket with a rubber material that will last a couple of years.

FYI - I found so many soda streams in garage sails and/or on the stoop in the street of Brooklyn ..
iFixit doesn't carry them; I'd check with Sodastream to see if they sell a replacement. You might have some luck in taking the gasket to a hardware store and see if they have a similar gasket.
