I have a 2011 Lariat, the sunroof opened about six inches the other day and after a crunching sound, stopped. Fortunately it closed. I have read online that this might be the plastic tracks the window runs on. Anyone ever changed these? I've heard it a costly and labor intensive repair for the dealer.

FYI best to do in a roomy garage and plan on 8+ hours.
Difficult job, but very satisfying saving $2000 having it done at service shop!
