touch screen not working after screen replacement?

hi, have you solved? Did you understand what the problem is?

I have the same problem and I am very worried because the phone is not mine but my brother and he is convinced that the touch screen does not work because I have not been able to fix it. I do not want problems with him. Please reply

Resurrecting something from the dead here but I’m seeing issues with a P9 myself. Touch is working but occasionaly unresponsive to swipes (especially left-to-right) or misinterprets swipes as touches.

Googling leads me to believe there’s a grounding problem or something. Or perhaps the part is just bad. I’ll try insulating the screen from the frame and clean the pressure contacts to see if it helps and update this with any new info.
