When I press the single shot espresso button it grinds beans and starts to dispense then quits after only a couple of seconds. I have tried shutting off the machine, but nothing thus far has fixed the problem. It will still make a cup of coffee, but not espresso. Advice please.

It’s possibly working as intended. Do you know that for each button (1 esp, 2 esp, 1 coff, 2 coff) you can set up custom amount of water? Maybe your 1 esp button is setup to 10ml of water. So it does just that.
