My screen is not working

Try connecting to an external monitor, if you do not have one then check with friends or family to let you use it for testing. If the video displays on the external monitor then the graphics adapter is good, the problem is the display. If the video does not display on the external monitor then the problem is the graphics adapter that is built into the system board of the laptop. The data on the hard drive should still be good and can be retrieved on another computer.
