That part is the earpiece speaker.

I don't have this phone anymore but no, not the earpiece speaker, all the way to the right, next to the actual front facing camera of the device, not the rear facing

Some context would help. Why are you asking?

No I meant the front facing camera of the phone, not the one literally facing forward in the picture. There is a little piece to the right of the actual front facing camera module with a contact on it that makes connection with the backplate. It is in this picture, but in several teardown videos it is not there. I have it in my phone, but it has lost adhesion to the frame. Need to know what the tiny module is.

I still don't know what "part" you are referring to. A red circle around the part would help (Microsoft Paint?)
