The recipient only receives the first part of my message. Will cut off in mid sentence.

what type of phone does the receiver have?

It's a flip-top LG with Verizon's logo on it. Older model. I should mention that when she receives text from others their entire message comes through. Also, I have sent text to many others and the whole message shows on their phones.

Does it happen on messages of <160 characters?

Just curious if you and the other person are using the same network provider and if not are any of your successful texts sent to someone who is on the same network as the person that you have problems texting?
