USB for wireless Logitech keyboard lost.

I lost the USB for my logitech wireless keyboard. Now it does not even turn on. Batteries are ok so i guess it is the Usb that creates the problem of it not working.

I guess I did not find an answer because all solutions proposed were not including the fact of 3 different brands involved in my case. that is:

LOGITECH WIRELESS (not turning on) KEYBOARD

TOSHIBA P.C

MICROSOFT MOUSE PAD.

The replies that were proposing buying a unified USB were not very relevant ,i think.

Or i did not get them...

please help because i am not so good (if at all with computers...as you have understood from my question..i guess..!)

the most important info you left out the model # of the keyboard, so YOU can look up if it is computable with a LOGITECH UNIFYING Dongle ( that is the name of the little USB thing ) if it is then YOU go purchase one, PLUG IT IN and it will find your keyboard if you dont want to do that then chuck it in the Garbage and get a new one.

Hi, so you are a bit confused. I get why.

Look on the bottom of your logitech keyboard.

See if you find this orange logo.

If you do find this orange logo, that means it supports what Logitech calls "Unifying Technology" where it easily pairs to the pictured receiver.

You can purchase one from here:

Once you purchase this USB receiver, you also need to download the pairing software.

Install the software, then plug in the USB receiver.

Run the software and follow the instructions.

It will tell you to add a device, and set the receiver into pairing mode.

To pair, simply switch off and on the keyboard.

Now if you don't have a power switch on the keyboard, you already know that this is not a supported keyboard. List the model number of your keyboard, not the name of it if these instructions don't work.

Switching my keyboard on and off is not triggering the pairing to happen. Is there some button you have to hold down or something? Since the keyboard works with 2 USB receivers it has to have some way of binding the two different USB receivers to mark them as 1 or 2.

My keyboard doesn't have the orange logo. It's Logitech ....The model number is mk320.

Hi

I have a MK320 Keyboard and i lost its nano receiver. I tried using the unifying receiver and it is not compatible. Please let me know how to find a receiver for this. Also please let me know if there is a combo mouse for it such that i can buy that and reprogram the keyboard with that nano receiver that comes with the mouse.

I have lost my USB Logitech MK240 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse  that enables to

use the set on my laptop….but it works grate on my smart TV.

Can i down load an app where it will work without the USB as it does on my smart TV

I imagine the TV is picking up the Bluetooth signal

Most PCs will not but, you open Bluetooth on Laptop and see if it shows available to Sync

If not Amazon, Target and eBay have them for sale

i would like to connect m331 mouse to the keyboard k400+ receiver. i tried using the unifying software, but it is unable to detect the k440+ supplied receiver although it has the unifying logo.

can please guide me how?

It is not possible to 'Connect the M331 to the K400+'

You should be able to Connect both to the pc/computer the 'Unifying USB Receiver' is plugged into; make certain both have 'Fresh' batteries.

Nano receivers use same connection utility as well. Not different. Other than lightening, lightspeed, nano, there is a new set of bolt receivers as well.

Under windows:

Lightening, nano - Logitech connection utility

Lightspeed - Logitech G Hub

Bolt - Bolt connection utility

Under Linux:

You can buy nano receiver from AliExpress or eBay. In Germany, I seem to randomly find a eBay ad selling both unifying and nano receivers. When I saw I just bought 5x each. €3 per reciever. I have redistributed to my friends as everyone had the same issue. Just ask the sellers. Nano receivers use chip made by Ti-Texas instruments. Unifying and lightspeed use NRF chip. For unifying and lightspeed the difference is only firmware and I have no idea how to reprogram. Ti chips use similar firmware but there are slight differences. Now the prices seem to have increased in 6 months. Around €8 per reciever. Most ads are unifying. For my broken g305, I couldn't get a dongle available so took friend's help and swapped chips with nano dongle. Only g305 has the Ti chip. Rest all lightspeed dongles GPW, g403, g703, g603, g900, g903 have NRF chip. G613 has Ti chip. Haven't got hands on g913 and gPro keyboards. This information might be useful for someone looking for specific dongle.

The K270 is a UNIFYING Logitech device so you may buy a Unifying USB Receiver online and both the Keyboard and mouse will work once you load the Unifying application

The K400 Plus is Also Unifying so, you may need the APP to connect it as well.

There is two version of K270 one that supports unifying and another that doesn't.

@goeranolofsson other version is nano receiver. Unifying is NRF chip and Nano is Ti chip.
