I had my laptop open sitting in my lap when my dog hit the right side of my machine and "popped" the hinge out. Now it won't close properly and it seems like it just needs to "pop" back together. Nothing looks broken, just a bit separated.
What needs to be done to fix it?

Had the same thing happen with ours. The plastic parts seem to have snapped and we have to push them down to close the lid and when the screen goes all the way down both of them make a loud snapping sound.
