horizontal lines in y screen
what am i going to do ? because if i use my laptop the lines are worsening and filing up my screen so that i cant use it.

@jayeff is correct. If you you have not lines on the external lcd, then it's the laptop's lcd thatll need to be replaced. The lines could be an indication of a video failure, but usually that is displayed by the screen artifacting. Hopefully it's the lcd. Good replacement screens are usually 40 to 60 dollars depending on the reseller.

Hi,
try connecting an external monitor to the laptop and see if its' display is OK when the laptop's screen develops lines.
