I bought the above device online, but even after changing adaptors and power sockets, ai can't get the device to power up. The power suppluly is getting the power (got checked) and the device makes a brief sound, but nothing after that. Even bluetooth or power indicators do not come on. What could be wrong?

There IS a problem with 20v to 5volt conversion. A circuit called 54335 to changé or solder a miniconverter card instead. Tutorials on youtube

Hi, I have stable 5v output from 54335, but the device is not turning on (the led blinks for a few miliseconds). The IC amp is getting 20v for ~2sec and then it starts to go down to 0v. What can be the cause?

me too. it comes harder to get what s going on as the device has not any power button, nor any button at all

bose solo 5 requires the remote the unit initially came with in order to turn on. although i just read that you can program a universal remote with the bose frequency codes to use a different remore. I programmed my harry potter RF wand to control it with gesture, flick forward for power , flick up for vol up etc.

also, did you try using a multimeter to make sure that the board has clean connections?

bose es como los iphones caros $.. para poca cosa que hacen habiendo equipos con precio justo que hacen lo mismo o mejor pero si quieren presumir que tienen dinero pues sigan apoyando MAc o Apple y Bose
