My printer will not scan to file. It also is missing black and white

For not scanning to file, you are talking about the option to save file to a network location? If so check these few things:
- Check if you configured your location properly. It should be something like \\computername\sharename
- Make sure your computer/laptop and printer have same workgroup name.
- If there is username/password to your profile, add them as well to printer (in network settings) so it can write file to given location.
As for “missing black and white” I am not sure what you are referring to? If you are reffering to printer options, I think its “Grayscale” that needs to be selected “on” or checked.
