Do not have wifi

I want to install a firestick but they require wifi and I only have broadband connection to the internet. If I installed a router also would that give me the wifi that I need? Thanks

What is the make and model number of the modem that you are connected to, to get to the internet?

Have you checked if it has WiFi capability or not?

If you connect a WiFi router to one of the modem's LAN ports then you can have WiFi access to the internet
