physical hard reset not working, i got this off ebay thinking that would be an easy fix and i saved$100s of dollars buying a new onehow wrong was i! Because it has a passcode the hard reset wouldn't bypass the securitywhich makes no sense.

Contact the seller or ebay. You got duped! Ebay should allow a return and refund IF ithe listing doesnt say it had a password on it. If it said it DID have a password, unfortunately you are out of luck.
