2 Nvidia Shield will not power on
Hi, just got a 2015 Nvidia shield P2571 as I thought they were the better model, used it once and now it wont power on at all. Tried everything I can think of, different sockets, TV but nothing. Spoke with Nvidia support and they are not bothered due to its age (and the fact its not new), they have said ‘it must have gone bad’…….. Not sure what that means but really, after 1 hours use?….. Anyone know what the likely cause is as I cant return it to the seller. Even obtaining a new power supply for it seems difficult to find.. Any help appreciated.

Failure to power on is a well known problem with this device and with its newer version from 2017. I've been searching for information on what component is broken in this case but could not find anything. See similar question regarding newer model - Nvidia shield will not power on? No green light or anything :( In one comment someone states this is due to motherboard failure.
