How old is my dryer?

I have a Kenmore Dryer Model 110.77851600, Serial MT 4902711. How old is my dryer? It needs repair and I am trying to decide whether I should try to repair it or consider a new one. Thank you!

TerryLynn Fisher according to the serial number this product may have been manufactured in Marion, OH, December of 2006. Age should not be the deciding factor for any repair. Old is not always bad :-) but check availability for parts etc. for your dryer. Let us know what is going on with it and we might possibly have the answer/guidance you need to fix this yourself.
