Ice maker makes ice intermittently
My Samsung model RF28R6201SR/AA ice maker will make ice for a couple of weeks and then stop making ice. There is no ice build up and the dispenser is not full. It just stops making ice! Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

What's freezer temperature? Ideally, freezer temps should be around 0F. Do you have high mineral content water?

The freezer temp is set to 0F. We do not have a high mineral content in our water.

One complaint of ice maker failure on Samsung's site that seems to be a known issue. If freezer temps are correct (verify with a separate thermometer) then there may be an issue with defrosting not clearing built up ice impeding airflow in the freezer.
