Where can I find the compatible motherboards for ASUS UX31xxx models?
I have UX31E, already upgraded the SSD via an adapter but I'm trying to understand the possible ways for upgrading the RAM.

@desideroali, On boards with soldered RAM, itβs only possible to βreplaceβ with high level board work (micro soldering).
This is not a DIY task. It requires a lot of skill, appropriate tools / equipment, and a LOT of patience.

And what is your suggestion for accomplishing this? Any suggestions for repairshops or compatible hardware?
And even if this is done for UX31E, is the motherboard compatible with 8GB RAM?
@desideroali A reputable micro soldering shop should be able to do it, but be prepared to pay a fair bit for the job.
As for compatibility, all information Iβve found on the UX31E says itβs a maximum of 4GB. Itβs not to say it isnβt possible, but unlikely.
