How do I replace ink cartridge?
Black ink is running low and not sure how to get to it to replace it?

This is a termal printer, it does not use ink or toner, chances are your battery needs charging or replacing.

Why do I need a battery for the thermal printer if it has an electrical plug?
@gailstewart You are correct that the LabelWriter series are all corded. Are you having the same problem as the original question, of the printing fading out?

Please verify the make and model number of the device that your question is about.
The Dymo LabelWriter 450 doesn't use ink. It is a thermal printer. The printer uses heat from a thermal print head to print on specially treated, heat-sensitive labels

I have a Dymo LabelWriter 400 Turbo, do I need to replace the ink cartridge or is there no ink on this model too?

All 400 series Dymo LabelWriters are the thermal print type i.e. no ink
