Can I upgrade the GPU?
the same question (same card), but for early 2009 24" iMac (with a seemingly faulty gt130m card - randomly shuts down, unless in Ventura with OCLP)

There are two versions of this system. The integrated GPU and the MXM board version
Only the MXM models can get a replacement bd but it’s not that simple! As you can only use what the system came with
Review this listing to find yours and also see what MXM bd you have currently iMac9.1
You are also limited to what the GPU cooler will fit and given the fact this is a Core 2 Duo system, there is limits on what it’s processing and graphics can offer.
