Window Switches Power Down Not Up

I have a version of this issue. Windows roll down but not up

The rear left door window. Both the driver switch and read left door switch fire down but not up. Replaced the regulator/motor already. No obvious sign of fuse. Could both switches be bad in the same way? The wires in the bundle as observed seem fine, but not sure how to troubleshoot from here. Thoughts appreciated!

In general, window switches switch polarity to power the motor in cw or ccw rotation. Unless you're able to disassemble switches to examine them for wear, you're left with making a temporary bypass to wiring to see if up works in each window or replacing the switches. Disassembly can be tricky as springs and parts can fall out without some idea of how they work. Used switches from junk yards may provide either a working switch or a part to disassemble to explore what fails. If you're lucky, dielectric grease used to reduce arc wear of contacts may have hardened, preventing electrical connections. Scraping off dried grease may restore a well worn switch back to full function. Applying new grease helps lube moving parts.

Super helpful info. We (my son and I) did attempt to clean switch connections (minimally, e.g. blowing out dust etc..). For the front switch it did improve from up or down doing nothing to down only. Will take a closer look. Sounds like *potentially* replacement switches could do it. Thanks!
