I have used many chargers to charge this phone. It will be doing great at first but later, the charging turns poorer and poorer till it charges no more. If you use a new different charger, it will be cool but the cycle then happens

@francisamoah before doing anything else, get the right charger and stick with it. To see if you can get your charging performance back, I suggest that at first you replace the battery. It is possible that there are issues with the battery control board based on the charging issues. Also, check the ribbon cable coming from the daughter board to the main board. Make sure it is properly seated and has no tears, corrosion etc. Use something like this video as a guide to get to the battery.
While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do.
