@michaelomini now you did not tell us which OS your are using. If it is any kind of Windows, check the device manager and see if WIndows still sees your audio devices. I would suggest that you disable the current audio device drivers and reinstall the ones for your system. for the 5280 check on here
If that does not work, check your computer's BIOS to see if your audio is showing up in there. Consider running the diagnostics. Access that according to this site
