@sky78672 you identified your computer as a HP Pavilion x2 10-n113dx. If that is correct then I have some bad news for you. Your memory is not upgradeable. The maximum is whatever is currently installed on your board. It is soldered to your board and not replaceable (for the normal DIY'er at least). The maximum RAM that you could have gotten on purchase, was 128GB.
