If its not working at all it could be issue with touchpad software or hardware. If its lagging while you move cursor it could be issue with softwer on your pc. Take usb mouse and plug it in your pc and check if that one will also lag. If it lags then its your software issue. Check CPU/RAM/Disk usage in task manager and let us know about percentages.

@henokbelachew26 are you saying it is shaking or it is stuck? Clarify this for us please. What have you checked and what have you tried?
