How can you replace the screen

Your friend's Nord is like a lot of Android phones where there are two ways to replace the screen; with or without the frame. Although the recommended and suggested method is to use the with frame method, there are advantages and disadvantages to both.

The with frame method means the LCD comes with the midframe already attached, which means you don't have to deal with any issues related to attaching the screen to the frame and sealing it. The downside is that you have to gut the entire phone and transfer everything from the old frame to the new one. The good news about that is that they make it fairly simple to do that; certainly it's much easier than it would be on an iPhone. As you found iFixit doesn't have a guide for that repair on your friend's phone, but there's a Spanish site called Nadie Me Llama Gallina that has just what you need. It is, of course, in Spanish, but used with Google Chrome's translation function it's quite usable and well done.

The other way is to just replace the LCD without the frame. This requires a different set of instructions since you only have to remove enough internals to get to the LCD connector, but then you have to separate the old screen from the frame. After that it has to be cleaned and reglued. We generally don't find LCD-only step by step guides, but there are usually YouTube videos available such as this one.

As for the replacement screen itself, I usually start with places like Amazon, eBay or AliExpress; whichever works best for you. The Nadie Me Llama Gallina site sells both the with and without frame screens, but that depends on where in the world you're located.
