We need more information. What about the mouse isn't working? (Buttons sensors etc) Are you referring to the trackpad or an external mouse? If it's the latter, how is it connected? If it is the former, some laptops have a key that disables trackpad (F7 on my Acer Aspire 5 laptop), so it is likely that you could have bumped it.

It's hard to diagnose a problem when you are extremely vague, what kind of mouse? Wired or wireless ? etc
