When replacing the Turbo, do you have to replace the sideman?Ifold that it's attached to as well , or can you just replace the turbo apand if so , what is the exact serial number or part description um for that Or where would I go to find that information

In this case yes as they are serviced as a single unit. I would also recommend changing the oil before replacing the turbo as well as the oil and coolant inlet and drain tubes.
You are going to be spending some money to replace this part on the car so it makes sense to do it properly or you will be doing it again at a greatly reduced lifespan and possibly a voided warranty on the turbo you purchase.
Order a replacement kit it comes with the oil and proper installation instructions gaskets, everything you need to perform this repair.
I don't know exactly what year you are referring to or what engine model. so the links below are just for reference and price examples. If you comment back the exact year and engine etc. I can find you what you need and send you a better link.
As always on the inside of the drivers door there is a sticker this sticker will tell you the exact month and year your car was manufactured. i.e 12/05 or 11/02 etc.
