Do you guys repair the connection cord it has started to crack and it shorts out

@domenicoponti iFixit does not do repairs. Here you can get guides and assistance with your repairs,which empower you to fix your own device. Go to this page Apple LED Cinema Display 24" and scroll to Documents. Then download the technician guide. See if that will help you. Also, if you provide some images of what the "connection cord" looks like we can most certainly try and help you with that and finding the right part. Adding images to an existing question
