My problem is at Step 3, when I press the power button, the LED 2 lights up but when I leave the power button it turns off and the system also does not turn on. I have followed all the other steps after that and still nothing. Please suggest/help.

Without more information it's hard to be certain what's gone wrong, but if you're only getting the first two diagnostic LEDs, then you may have an issue with the video card (something that is known to fail on the 2010 model). If the system is powering off immediately after releasing the power button, though, then that may indicate some larger issue, either with the power supply or the main logic board. Good luck!
