Top speaker not working
The top sensing speaker the one you put your ear on is not working to hear sound you have to put the it on loud Speaker what could be the problem .

You'll want to start out by cleaning the speaker grille. If it's clogged up it could be blocking the sound so that's where I'd start. Try a fine brush and some 90% or higher concentration isopropyl alcohol along with blowing it out with canned air and possibly vacuuming it too. If none of that works, try restarting the phone in safe mode to make sure it's not an app causing issues with the speaker.
If nothing helps, then there's a good chance the speaker itself has failed. Fortunately on your phone it's not too difficult of a job. Sorry to say that iFixit doesn't have a guide to that repair, but there's a Spanish site called Nadie Me Llama Gallina that has just what you need.
