hold switch strange work

Hello. I have Ipod classic 7 gen and hold switch works like power button. When I switch hold to lock position ipod power off and when switch to unlod ipod power on and apple logo appears. I changed the hold switch and headphone jack to new one but problem wasn`t solved. Where can be the problem?
