My F1 fuse keeps blowing.

The F1 fuse on my SNES keeps getting tripped. As soon as I plug in power the fuse blows. I’ve checked the voltage regulator and It seems good. I can’t find any other glaring issues but clearly there’s a short somewhere. Any help would be appreciated!

To check the voltage regulator u need voltage that u wouldn't have if the fuse is blown. Fuses blow because of a high current drain over their rating. The first thing to check would be the power capacitors since that is mostly visual, leakage and/or expansion. However, the most common cause is bad diodes in the power supply. So, put your DVM in diode mode and check all the diodes and large 3 terminal devices. After that it would be a shorted component on one of the power rails, which might be detectable using a DVM with a very low resistance range.
