Laptop turns on but there is only white screen. If I connect another monitor then it works fine. I want to fix it so screen of laptops works fine and make the portability possible.

@amitkg a white display indicates that the LCD backlight is turning on and thus receiving the proper voltage of 19V from its power rail. The issues that your laptop shows is commonly caused by a loose LVDS display cable,a damaged display connector, a damaged LCD panel, For now, check the connector and check the cable. This error looks more like a bad LCD. Use the Dell Vostro 2520 Owner's Manual which includes a service manual, to work on your computer.

@amitkg Try to open up the laptop and reconnect the plug for the built-in screen!

Hi Theo, thank you for ur message. i did exactly as u mentioned unfortunately it doesn't work. It still 99.99% white all over the screen except 1mm upper part (that much part is good). Is there any other way to fix it without changing the screen ?

@amitstark so it does show more than just white. This actually looks like a bad LCD panel.
